The Ibero-American Encounter of Lighting Design EILD was born as a non-profit initiative conceived by a group of independent professionals passionate about light.

The purpose of this initiative is to build spaces for reflection and exchange to learn, experiment and share ideas among professionals and lovers of light in Ibero-America, but with time it will spread to the whole world. The spirit of the Meeting proposes new ways of transmitting the values ​​of lighting design, emphasizing communication and collaboration between all disciplines related to the profession.

In the second meeting, it was held in the City of Querétaro, Mexico, where our director of Sáas Magali Méndez together with Anne Bureau, were the coordinators of the Workshop called QueretaLUZ, where together with other lighting designers, they intervened in different parts of the city with installations of light.

All sites must be illuminated on October 25 for the official start of EILD, so that the participants of the Ibero-American Meeting will be able to enjoy the proposals of QueretaLUZ, as well as the inhabitants and visitors of the city of Querétaro.
